CELEBRATING
105 YEARS
OF WILLFUL RESILIENCE.
THE LEGACY OF GREENWOOD
The Greenwood 120 Gala is a national cultural convening that honors Greenwood’s historic brilliance, elevates its present-day champions, and advances the work that safeguards Greenwood’s legacy. It is designed to uplift leaders redefining what justice demands. They uphold a standard of excellence for how Greenwood’s story is preserved, celebrated, and carried forward.
As Greenwood marks its 120th year and we reflect 105 years after the Tulsa Race Massacre, the world is finally beginning to acknowledge what was erased, buried, and denied for generations. This moment carries deep significance not only as a time of remembrance, but as an opportunity to tell Greenwood’s story with dignity, truth, and care.
This inaugural gathering helps set the tone for how Greenwood’s legacy will be honored moving forward, centering the voices, resilience, and leadership of those who have carried this work and kept its history alive.
